Capital City E-Bike Rental - Questions and Answers
Why should I reserve an e-bike in advance?
We have a limited number of e-bikes available for rent. Reservations ensure that a bike is held for you on your preferred date and time.
What's included with the e-bike rental?
All rentals include:
- A helmet
- A lock
- A map
- A bottle of water
Optional child seats, tag-along bikes, or bike strollers are also available upon request for family use.
What is the rental availability?
We offer 3-hour time blocks for rentals on Saturdays and Sundays:
- 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM
- 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM
- 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Demo Rides: Wednesdays, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Daily and Weekly Rentals: By appointment only
Walk-Up Rentals: Available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Bike choices may be limited, so we recommend calling ahead for availability.
What are your rental rates?
- 3 hours: $48.00 (plus tax)
- Additional hours: $16 per hour (3-hour minimum applies)
Do I need to leave a deposit?
A deposit is not required. However, riders are responsible for stolen or damaged bikes and agree to pay replacement costs.
What if the bike is stolen or damaged?
The renter is responsible for the rental bike and equipment from the time it is released into their custody until it is returned. To avoid additional fees, please care for and protect the rented equipment as if it were your own. It should be returned in the same condition as it was rented.
Can I change or cancel a reservation?
- Reservations can usually be revised up to 5 days before the scheduled rental date.
- A $25 cancellation fee applies to same-day cancellations.
- Rain days are 100% refunded.
What are your operating hours?
- Weekends and Holidays: Open 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM
- Weekdays: Rentals by appointment only
Is there an age requirement to ride e-bikes?
You must be 18 years or older to book and ride our e-bikes.
Is delivery and pickup service available?

How do you protect my privacy and information?
